Tender
This photographic story emerged when I traveled through the Istanbul area and rural Turkey. Its focus is women and feminine touch. Throughout my journey, I found myself in places with only men around me most of the time. I yearned to see a woman and when I did my heart ached and was soothed at the same time. Their presence was tender. They stood strong in their feminine essence and that was beautifully palpable to me. Each photograph offers a raw narrative and reveals softness in environments where life is challenging. Together, these photographs create a story, a collection of moments experienced by women, including myself.
